Newer Antipsychotic Drugs Kill Patients by
Causing Heart Attacks
The ultimate cure for schizophrenia is death, and Big
Pharma's drugs are delivering precisely that, says new research
conducted at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. |
In fact, the newer
"atypical" antipsychotic drugs turn out to present a far greater risk of
fatal heart attacks (100% increase) than the very same older drugs that
the FDA warned the public about in June of 2008
The study's conclusions cover the following drugs: clozapine, Risperdal,
Zyprexa and quetiapine (Seroquel). Together, these drugs earned a
whopping $14.5 billion in sales for Big Pharma in 2007, reports
Reuters.
Drug companies routinely try to push doctors and patients to newer drugs
by hyping up their benefits with slick marketing campaigns. In truth,
however, most newer drugs are inferior to older drugs and pose higher
risks of fatal side effects while costing patients and insurance
companies far more money. Drug marketing in modern-day America is all
about making more profits, not solving actual health problems in
patients.
It's worth noting that these very same dangerous drugs are routinely
prescribed for fictitious psychiatric conditions such as "bipolar
disorder" or ADHD. And yet the FDA has never approved these drugs for
such conditions, meaning that many prescriptions are made "off label."
It's one of the dirty little secrets of the psychiatric industry, and it
proves that modern psychiatry is based on pure quackery, not proven
scientific evidence (as they claim).
While dangerous drugs come and go, psychiatrists continue to ignore
nutritional options for treating children, claiming that nutrition has
no role whatsoever in brain health (absurd), and that a troubled child
is simply deficient in pharmaceuticals.
It is my position that the drugging of infants and children with
mind-altering psychotropic drugs is a crime against humanity and that
the business of modern psychiatry is a criminal enterprise.
